A trip through northern East Prussia — today the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast

A journey through this history-laden land — from the basins of the Pregolya, Angerapp, Deime, Inster, Pissa and Rossbach rivers to the banks of the Niemen. During this exploratory tour you will experience varied, stunning landscapes: from the mouth of the Pregolya into the Vistula Lagoon near Königsberg, through the Queen Louise Bridge in Tilsit, to the former hunting grounds of the Kaiser by Lake Wystiter in the Rominten Forest.

You will discover these so different parts of the former East Prussian province, today belonging to Russia. At the same time you will experience the proverbial hospitality of today's inhabitants of this land.

If you have preferred locations or preferred dates, please let us know — we will plan accordingly. The exact travel dates are not yet fixed. Three trips are anticipated.

Entry into Russia requires a visa. We are glad to help with the application. Travel to/from Gdańsk can be arranged in various and affordable ways. If you would like to visit the beautiful city of Gdańsk before or after the trip, we are glad to recommend accommodation and explore the Old Town with you.
