People, horses, wide land

A grand tour through northern East Prussia

A journey through this history-laden land — from the basins of the Pregolya, Angerapp, Deime, Inster, Pissa and Rossbach rivers to the banks of the Niemen. During this exploratory tour you will experience varied, stunning landscapes: from the mouth of the Pregolya into the Vistula Lagoon near Königsberg, through the Queen Louise Bridge in Tilsit, to the former hunting grounds of the Kaiser by Lake Wystiter in the Rominten Forest.

These so different parts of the former East Prussian province today belong to Russia. At the same time you will experience the proverbial hospitality of today's inhabitants of this land.

East Prussia was and remains a land of horses. We visit old and new stud farms where horses are still kept and bred today. Of course a visit to the former "Paradise of Horses" — Trakehnen is also part of the programme.

The trip begins and ends at the airport of Königsberg (Kaliningrad). It runs on various dates.
